Deaths Due to Aggressive Driving Increase Fatalities attributable to aggressive driving increased from 913 to 971 in 2007, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PADOT). Fifty-eight additional lives were lost, adding to the total of 4,640 killed over the past five years due to the actions of aggressive drivers.
